This year we got the chance to accompany Barry on a trip to Boise for 6 days for a conference.
We had a lot of fun. It was a good time to just relax and take it easy. We made several trips to the M K Nature Center(one of my very favorite places!) and to Applebees .... which happened to be located in parking lot of our hotel. Totally recommend their new Crispy Chicken Salad with Honey Mustard dressing. James befriended this turtle at the center, it would follow his fingers around.
They have an awesome display and play area in the nature center and James just fell in love with this stuffed Sturgeon. It is handmade, but perhaps one day we can try and make him one just like it.

Emma took her naps at the hotel under the table. Owen would often try and join her, but he tried to be very sneaky about it.
Guess what??? They have FREE lunch in Boise too. Heh eh ehe.
WE loved the river walk and Owen LOVED chasing the geese around "DUCK!! Duck!!! Duck!! Come mere DUCK!!!!"
James found a handle protruding from a rock. He was convinced it was the Sword in the Stone and that he would be the next king... unfortunately he was unable to pull it out... So I guess we'll never know. ;D
