 Ellie's first day of school manicure, she picked it all out.

 For Ellie's Birthday we changed things up a bit this year. We invited Barry's brother's family to go camping with us to City of Rocks(pictures to come) and on Ellie's birthday we went to the beautiful Brigham City temple open house with Grandma and Grandpa Stuart. It was so special and gorgeous. I will upload the rest of the pictures later. This one is waiting to leave at Grandma's house, the best picture of the 5 I took. ;)

 1 weeks worth of zucchini, whoa ho ho. it's zucchini casserole, brownie, bread, cake time.

More Summer.

 James and Lauren at swimming lessons. Lauren is giving James the evil eye, because she didn't get to participate this time. Ellie was in 5 weeks straight of swimming lessons and turned into a fish. James 4 weeks, and Natalie came and took 2 weeks with us. The kids had fun and Lauren is looking forward to her turn next year! Sorry no of the pictures turned out of the kids in the pool.

 Some of us have struggled with hayfever this summer, luckily it didn't last long.

 I think Lauren has my eyes, she is my first kid that I've actually been able to see some resemblance to me.

I took the kids to the library and they wrapped their mommy up like a mummy. They thought it was pretty cool. James took the picture.

 And then summer was over and James started school....

Well, actually all the kids did. (Personally I'd watch out for the little girl in the front row she looks like TROUBLE.) Don't believe me? Click on the picture for a closer look.

 We found a merry-go-round in a tiny little park in the middle of no where. The kids had to play on it. Barry might have played on it too.

Summertime 2012 ...so far

We have been enjoying our summer.


Memorial Day was the best yet.




James is such a talker now and says the funniest things .....and I mean the funniest.










On the Saturday before Memorial Day, I went to the DI and bought Ellie a smaller bike for 5 bucks. She wasn't nearly as scared when she could put her feet on the ground and picked up riding without the training wheels all in about an hour. Now she is a pro, and we go on rides every morning, her on her bike and me on my blades pushing the double stroller. I think we provide the daily entertainment for the whole block ...but hey it's good exercise. :)


Barry reduced the size of our garden, tiled it and planted grass seed.

My sister and her husband went camping with us. We went up by Stanley and camped at Alturis Lake. It was beautiful. The water was gorgeous, crystal clear and freezing!
Ellie's favorite part of the trip was stopping at Red Fish Lodge and getting ice cream. It was certainly an adventure.














Our cow Sueky was in labor when we got back from Red Fish Lake. We were lucky to be there, because she needed some help. Barry pulled and pulled, and I evened helped a little when Barry was all worn out. Baby and Mom are doing well. The calf is huge for a miniature cow, more the size of a regular calf, no wonder the mom needed a bit of help.

Next up, swim lessons for the kids, 4th of July fun, and Natalie's upcoming visit. :)


p.s. I FINALLY got my laptop working again, so maybe I can get a few more post in now and then.
