Mid July

Hey Mom! This milk has CHOCOLATE in it!!!!
Hard week. I've been super ornery.  The kids have put it in stride. ;)
Can you see it? I finished it, but I lost it.
 Miss Idaho.

We've been trying to get the yard cleaned up this week. We trimmed the Fitzers and knocked down a whole bunch of weeds. I am thankful that I can get around a bit better on my sore foot now.

Just wanted a nice pic of my ugly brown face spots I traded for, to get my Owen. He's so worth it!

" Hey Mom! I think you have something in your eye...."

"Let me get that out for you..."

" Yeah, THAT's my EYEBALL Owen!!" "It's not supposed to come out...arghhh!"

Taste of Home: Sour Cream Peach Pecan Pie. Google it. Make it! eat it! Yum! Had a friend over this week, showed her how to make a pie.

 Summer napping is the best.
Socks mostly lives at the neighbors house, but he come back to visit us.
 Lauren's Lava T-shirt design. She's a bit crazy.

Lauren learned how to ride a bike this week, first try! She never crashed. Just took off riding. She's amazing!

Ellie got a super nice bike for an early present for her 12 birthday. I am very jealous. She will love it and I hope she can use it for the rest of her life. She definitely deserves it, she is such a wonderful helper and wonderful daughter.

June Happenings

Cowboy Caviar. Pretty much the only thing I feel like eating on these hot summer days. Yum yum.
Spy sisters. We try to go to the swimming pool at least a few times a week. The kids are improving leaps and bounds.
 Hurt my stupid foot.
 My cute snuggle buddy
My life. Pitting cherries this week. James picked up my phone and took this picture. He says I'm a cute mom. :D

12 days after I hurt my foot.  I know a way to fill in all your wrinkles without surgery, or injections. ;)
Last Sunday after church, Barry said. I made a major mistake today.
I asked him what?
He said he fed Owen a maple bar for breakfast.
Barry was fasting and was super hungry, and because I was on crutches he had hold and carry Owen around all through church.
He said.
"I felt like i was carrying around a giant maple bar for the past three hours!"
I laughed and gave Owen a sniff, and he did indeed smell like a doughnut.
Serves him right, I think, for giving our baby a doughnut for breakfast. ;)

Lauren lost another tooth. ....and broke ANOTHER molar eatting a ...cracker.

Whole wheat cinnamon rolls for Father's Day. Super yummy.
 Ellie's fluffy hair.

Jeana brought her family up for the 4th. The kids had fun playing together. It was wayyyt too hot, but I think we made the best of it. I didn't take any pictures because my foot hurt and I didn't want to lug around my camera. :P

Owen Bear's Twinkle

I may be a tiniest bit bias, but I do believe I have the cutest baby in the world.
He is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable. I took these pictures just to see if I could capture the twinkle in his eye. He wouldn't hold still even for a moment.
I wish I had this one in focus, but he's too quick for me, and my fixed lens. :D

He is the sweetest happiest baby that is growing up way to fast!

Everyday he tries something new. Biting the bar stools is a new favorite.
He has two bottom teeth in, and another top two have been spotted.
He can crawl on his hands and knees, but when he really wants to move quickly it's back to army crawling....and man is he FAST! He loves to climb everything... and is almost an independent stander at 9.5 months.
IF you give a babe a cookie.....

I love you Owen Bear! You bring our family so much joy every day. :D

Magic Reservoir and Alturas Lake

Barry took us on a drive last weekend to Magic Reservoir and Alturas Lake. It was a cold day, but it sure was beautiful up there. We brought some lunch and snacks and were off on another adventure. :D

Thing just got a little bit more crazy. ;)
Magic Valley Reservoir. This Reservoir is a very strange place out in the middle of no where.

There was a quite a few shack/houses along the shore. Seemed like a great place for doing all thing illegal.

We drove up and over Galena Summit.  ...and found some snow.

It was a bit colder than she expected. :D

One of our favorite books to read as a family is Ski the Mountain. The story is based in these beautiful mountains. It was fun to point out the different places to the kids.

This is the campsite we stayed at last time we camped up here. IT was a good one. We will be back with our new kayaks. James desperately wants to try catching Salmon.

We drove through Sun Valley on the way up the mountain. There were having a relay race over the mountain. It was fun to see all the different runners. These are not them. They DID run right in front of us though.

 Beautiful Mountain Wild Flowers
 Alturas Lake

Hot Dang! My husband is handsome.
