Lauren, out of all my children is the biggest tease by far.
She began teasing me with incredible cleverness before she could even talk.
She loves to steal your nose. I honestly don't know how it got started, but one day she came up to me grabbed at my nose and then scampered away yelling "I got your nose! Hahah, I got your nose."
We played the game a little bit last night, until I just gave up getting my nose back.
This 6 o'clock this
morning, Lauren was sitting in her highchair happily eating MY branflakes, when she told me to come here. I went over to her highchair and she said "here" and held out her closed fist. I held out my hand, and she made a motion of handing me something ...though their was nothing in her hand.
I looked at her grinning face and asked confused? "What's that??"
She said laughing, "it's your nose back."

James's Fish
James has been interested in fishing since he could walk.
He is constantly turning sticks, dental floss, old hangers and whatever he can into fishing polls. He hangs his homemade line off the couch, or my bed and waits for fish. Daddy has promised him a fishing poll, many times but it just hasn't happened. A couple weeks ago, James finally got his WISH!
I honestly didn't think he would like it, and would lose interest very quickly, because it's not a toy, and you can't be rough with it, and he probably wouldn't catch any fish most of the time...
Boy! Was I wrong!
My sweet little boy fished for 6 hours in rain, cold, and horrible wind. I sat huddled in the car for about 2 hours and then asked to be taken home with the other kids. Little James stuck it out.
He caught 3 fish in the end, after trying 3 different fishing spots.
He got two sucker fish and a carp, and he was very very excited! He reeled the fish in himself and could even tell when he had a fish on the line.
I am happy we have found something that he LOVES, and I am more than impressed that he stuck with it. :)

March in Review
HEY! What are you looking at?????
Yeah! YOU! What's so exciting?!?
Ohhhhhhh. How cute! There are two, I probably have the same one pictured twice, but you get the idea. |
and this is how I feel.................
Lots of rest and relaxation for some.
Lauren and the NEW current love of her life. A stick. It goes everywhere with us.
icky icky icky
James on his new ride, he bought from the thrift store with his 4$ birthday money from Great Grandma. He is learning quick.
I wish I could capture the intense nausea for you. (just for posterity's sake)
New Sleeping bags for all!
Oh and Barry brought the kids home a puppy. yeah THEY love him though, James named him Tiny.
Ellie is officially a rabbit, after bribing her to pull out both of her teeth in one day, I immediately regreted the decision because of the "varmint" like result. Fortunately she thinks it's quite funny. Phew...
Anyway.....
I am not expecting.
I don't do that anymore, but we are hoping for a baby in November. Keep us in your prayers. :)
