Starting summer off right..

My computer broke last month, but so did my washing machine, dishwasher, septic tank, irrigation pump....grr the list goes on and on. It was a bummer month. So I won't have any funds for a new computer for a few months. So that means only phone pictures peeps, and not a lot of text, because blogging on a semi-smart phone it just no fun.

Barry has to work most of the summer now, but he does get a couple weeks off. So we are trying making the most of the of the days we have.

Sorry if I have posted some of these before. I have a bad memory and it gets downright terrible when I'm tired, ....and I'm tired.

Incredible strawberry rubbarb pie. Everybody asked for a second slice. Our rubbarb plants are huge this year.
Owen crawls to the edge of my bed and calls for Ellie in the morning. It's so sweet.
 First and last peep
No Emma, I don't understand the facination with something so icky either...
There were those that did approve...

Crawls on all fours when willing.
Barry redid the walls in our bathroom to smooth out the horrible texture, then he ripped out the huge jetted tub, because I hated to clean it. Then he ripped out the toilet and the flooring...It's all coming back together slowly. Sometimes I think he's Superman. Just thinking about all that work makes me tired. Yawnnnn.

 New tub. No Jets.

This little lad is pulling himself up on furniture and holding on with just one hand.

We joined the Filer City Library. We have to pay $ because we live outside city limits, so we haven't joined in the past. But the kids and I have found it's fun to walk there, by way of pizza hut and the grocery store and a quick stop at the park to eat our spoils. :D

We had a park field trip for school. We looked up all the parks in twin falls and decided we would try and go to as many as we could giving each a rating. At each park the kids had to complete a part of their school work before playing. These pics were taken at our last stop. CSI. Where we happened to run into a handsome fellow who gave us popsciles and doughnuts. :D

Took the kids scootering along the  canyon rim trail.

James and I snuck away and went fishing on our land. He had a wonderful time.

His favorite fish ...a red side shiner.
Bumble bee visiting the wild irises.

Rainbow trout.

Got some kayaks so we can explore whole new places together. :D
