Snow! Owen 4 months, Lauren 6!

Baby it's COLD outside!!!
Natalie came for her Christmas Visit. She turned Sweet 16 this month!

We had a happy New's Year with Natalie, and Grandma and Grandpa Stuart came up. IT was our last year of making Obama bears. I think we must have finally gotten the recipe right, because they actually tasted good. :D
Our kind neighbor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago. He wasn't given very long to live so they kids were asked to help make ornaments for a memory tree for him. He was a woodworker and made many things for us including this birdhouse. The kids spent the day making him special ornaments for his tree. Sadly, he passed away early this morning.

This little baby is getting teeth. HE wants to chew on Everything!

Christmas present opening at Grandma Stuart's!

Less exciting for some.

I was getting ready to go somewhere and I looked down at Owen trying to catch my eye. He is such a sweet little boy. He loves me, I can tell.
Owen's 4 month checkup.
Eyes: Still dark brownish blue.
Weigh 80 percentile. 17 lbs.
Height was 50%, but i don"t think he was measured well. He measured in the 80th percentile a few days later when we remeasured him. ;)

Noggin 95th Percentile. A Pate for sure!
Cuteness Level: 200th Percentile.
After Immunizations. Not so happy, but still a sweetheart.
Ellie tried making animal crackers. I think the name should be changed to Butter Crackers. First ingredient 4 cubes of butter .... with only 2 cups of flour. Ack! She had fun though. They're pretty good, if you like butter.

For Lauren's birthday She wanted to go skiing. So Barry took the older kid's up the mountain and they skied and skied. Lauren is quite talented. They had a lot of fun. We invited our friends the Cooper's to ski too. Afterwards, we all went to Pizza Pie Cafe to Celebrate our LaRUE turning 6!!!

Sorry must have gotten some pizza greasy on my phone lens while I was busy stuffing my face with pizza!

Happy Birthday pretty girl I couldn't love you MORE!
