Swinging through September

The neighbors gave us their old swingset. The kids are absolutely loving it!

So much joy from a simple thing.

I love my kids, I wish they weren't growing up quite so fast.

Sadly we sold our cow, since we currently don't have a place for it, and Barry is going to try NOT having animals for awhile.("I know, weird")
He bought eight trees to console himself. 2 apple, 2 plum, 2 lumber pine, and a black pine. Mmmm, I don't even know what the other one was. :)

I love the soft pines, I picked those ones out.(pictured above)

We also go 4 yards of bark/dirt for our flower beds. They really needed it. Unfortunately, our wheelbarrow is broken, so we hauled it all in buckets. I had the messy job of scooping the dirt into the buckets from the back of the trailer. As I dumped the dirt into the buckets, clouds of black dirt would puff up all around me. It also didn't help that the wind was blowing a bit. I got COVERED in it! James said I looked like Mary Poppins when she goes up on roof and dances with the chimmey sweeps. I was singing "Chimchimmy" for the kids when one of our neighbors decided it was a good time to come over and introduce herself.  Hahahahhahahah. Barry said the only clean looking spot on my face was under my nose where my nose was running. Oh goodness! I had to have a shower and two baths that night, but my flower beds look a whole lot better. :)

I haven't given you an update on baby girl lately. Everything looks good. I am about 30 weeks, and super huge, my belly sticks out a mile. I've had to buy new maternity clothes, because nothing fits. Oh well, I guess she's comfortable in there. 7 more weeks to go, but HEY who's counting?

Oh and I got made the secretary in the primary. Super happy about that. They divided up our ward, and created a whole new ward. So everything and everybody is starting from scatch. I will have a lot of work at first, figuring out who the kids even are, making lists, getting stuff organized, but it will be fun, and I will have my own three kids there to keep me company, and THEY are super happy about THAT!
