Lauren's first day of Kindergarten was TODAY. She was excited.
She thought it would be fun to wear the same clothes Ellie wore on her first day of Kindergarten.(Thanks blog for the reference photo, and Thanks to Me for saving Ellie's old clothes)
Lauren is quite a bit bigger than Ellie was, even though Ellie was several months older when she started school. Those shoes Ellie is wearing ....Emma has. :) Lauren won't be fitting into any of the clothes for long.
We did throw the cat out of the picture. He just kept coming back.
Lauren's actual school backpack. :) She picked it out herself. She calls it Sunshine. She loves it! I will admit it was easy to spot her after school.
Owen came too. He didn't like it much.
A tissue and some chocolate from her teacher to make leaving her all better.......
She had a great day! We sure missed her though.
