December 2016

We visited Great Grandpa Griffin. He was kind enought to give each of the kids a gift.
Emma has listened to her nursery rhyme book over and over and over again.

A much needed present. Just bigfoot's size.

Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary to us! We spent it at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Our favorite place!

Pate Family Christmas Dinner at Elite Hall in Hyrum

Much fun was had by the children.
Emma ran back and forth, and back and forth, the whole night. When we pulled up to the Hall. She asked. "Is this my party Dad?" He said Yes! She was soo happy. She had a ton of fun!

Christmas Eve day at Grandma and Grandpa Stuart's.

A Quiet Simple Christmas back at home.
Ellie got a library card, all she asked for and wanted. (She got a few other things as well. :) )

Barry made us delicious crepes for breakfast. Church got cancelled because of a winter storm. So we just spent the day at home together.
The kid's all got cowboy boots to tromp around with on our land. Lauren was super excited!

Lauren has really taken to skiing. She fell down at first  and had a hard time figuring out how to get her skis back under her to get up, but she figured it out and didn't give up. James skiied over to help her. (He is wearing Ellie's old coat because he left his at Grandmas)
Sledding off the back deck is a MUST!
Emma came in for a snack.

 Merry Christmas!

I'm impressed with the animal crackers Ellie made!! Do they taste as good as they look? Also impressed with the beautiful pics you took at the bird refuge. You are a talented photographer! I love your blog, the pics are so fun and they will be treasured thru the years!
