I got a new vacuum.
Actually, I told Barry, don't you dare try and give me a new vacuum for Mother's Day.
(He was buying one anyway last week, because he ran over our other one)
He said "That's a great idea, that hadn't even occurred to me."
Well whatever it was for, I finally got it, and it's NICE.
I think I was just kindof combing the carpet with my other vacuum, this one really sucks, and it's way quiet. Hopefully it will last for 30 years or so, but we'll see.

I told Barry how much I liked them, ...and I sort-of left the ordering info open on the computer so it would be super easy for him to surprise me with them.
My plan worked, Barry ordered them for me online and they came in only 2 days, just in time for Mother's Day ...unfortunately they shipped the wrong size 5 1/2.(NO, Mom you can't have them). But I am excited to get my super-cute sandals one day soon.

All three kiddos were sick, so I stayed home from church with them and made Oatmeal Pecan Raisin Cookies and had a long nap. MMmmmm good times.

Happy Mother's Day. It doesn't seem so exciting to stay home with 3 sick kids on Mother's day. I'd rather go to church alone and let Dave stay home with the sick kids. But Oatmeal raisin cookies sound good. I think we'll make some today...
That's so funny I was reading about your sandles and I just started thinking "oh, you can give them to me" just as I read "no Mom, you can't have them". Well, Miss Meanny head, I can't wear adorable things like that anyway :p

Yeah for new vacuum and cute shoes. I have a black dress I've been meaning to mail you. I love it, but it is just too short. I've thought about taking it back but have probably waited to long and I just like it so much. So I thought I could mail it to you and if you didn't like it, I would pick it up sometime this summer and maybe add some material to the bottom.
