November -Emma's 5th Birthday!

Emmaline Rose Pate
Emma is smart! So very very smart.

Emma is kind and very sweet and is such a gentle soul
Emma is thoughtful, she is always drawing giving me I LOVE YOU notes

Emma is a princess
Emma is joy
Emma is independent and stubborn and knows what she wants.
She'll ignore you, if you yell at her and just blink her big blue eyes at you and continue to wait for you to come around to seeing and doing things her way. (somehow i bet you will ;))
Emma is an amazing Artist. She draws awesome pictures and has a great eye for detail.
Emma is musically gifted. One of my favorite things in the whole world is to hear her pluck out songs on the piano in the evenings. She even takes requests.
We simply could not do without YOU.
We love you Emmaline Rose

WE celebrated Emma's birthday by having a pre-Thanksgiving feast with Grandma and Grandpa. IT was lots of fun to celebrate this sweet little girl.

Emma always chooses to have Pumpkin pie instead of a birthday cake. So Dessert was perfect.
 Annual Turkey Coloring Page Contest.
Owen's chose Grandpa's turkey as the winner. :D He won an adorable Owl named Albert, which he promptly gave back to me ....which I now proudly display on my new bookshelves.

WE drove out to Cauldron Linn in Murtaugh for Veteran's Day. I have wanted to go see it for years. When I got out of the van and was walking down the road right before I took this pictures I was just filled with happiness, almost enough to burst. I love my family, I love going on adventures. I am so grateful for my health and Barry's good job and the opportunities we have to make this priceless memories as a family.
THe Saturday before we drove out to Fairfield. It is a beautiful mountain range, filled with rednecks and antelope(apparently). We will not be building a cabin there. :P

My friend Jenny made me some Lime Tarts for my birthday. They were delicious and Owen was not willing to let me have ANY of his. "Can I have a bite Owen??"

Eleanor got the rest of her braces on. December 6, 2018. Time flies and before we know it Ellie will have a gorgeous straight teethed smile.
Gourmet cookies for my birthday. The kid's enjoyed trying all the different flavors.
I made a couple apple pies. They were delicious I must say so myself. We got pizza and just stayed home and read scriptures around the fire. It was my kindof birthday party.
Barry is building me a walk in closet/dressing room in our room. It should be magnificent when it is finished.

We have caught every sick bug this winter and Ellie ended up with a bad case of step throat. We all had it but I took Ellie into the doctors to get a note for school. :D
Funny story though, i took all the kids into InstaCare and sat them down in the waiting room and gave them a spill. I'm going to take Ellie and Owen into see the doctor, you just sit here and watch TV ......but before  I could even finish my sentence. James grumbled looking down... I DON't WANT to watch THAT TV, Ellie's was blushing bright red and looking down and Lauren had her face in her hands. Emma was just staring at the TV with a smile. I whipped my head around there was a very racy love scene on the screen. I was like ACK!!!!!!! I asked the office assistant to change the channel. She looked up and gasped!

Owen got some magnets from Grandma, he absolutely loves them, I think they remind him of Grandma's house.
Thanksgiving was a bust this year. We all got sick sick sick. We did go down to Sharon's church and had Thanksgiving for the first time in a long time with the Griffin relatives. THe kid's had a ton of fun running around the gym and stage. Owen ran and ran and ran and ran.

More walk in closet remolding pictures.
Got myself some insulated overalls for my Birthday and a Digital Assistant. I have had soo much fun having it play me songs from my younger days and answer James' endless trivia questions. :D
