We visited Grandpa Griffin a few days before Christmas. It was a good visit.
Barry played the bugle for Grandpa. It was sooo good to hear Grandpa laugh. His playing WAS quite hilarious.
We went to Church with the Pate family for Christmas and afterwards went to Gina's for lunch. It was fun to catch up with everyone. Owen sat by Anthon for more than an hour and finally just drifted off to sleep. It was quite adorable.
These two are remodeling my room together. They are the cutest!
Lauren has gained 7 pounds eating burritos. I'm glad she found something she LOVES!

Jenny brought up Lime Tarts for my birthday. Owen was unwilling to share. He made that face after I asked him for a bite. So yummy!
The kid's got birds for Christmas. They record you and play back the sounds. The kid's all love them. Especially Emma and Owen.
Owen got his own can of popcorn. He was in HEAVEN
The kid's earned a WWI U player an a Zelda game. I bribed them to read the Book of Mormon with a reward. They earned their reward in 22 days. I was so impressed with their dedications. There was such a special spirit in our house while the children were reading and reading and reading. James even forgot about the reward. As soon as we finished he asked if we could start over and read it again. I have a plan to do that same thing every year. It was the best part of Christmas for me. :D
