We stopped at a place called Devil's Garden for lunch. We ate lots of peanut butter sandwiches, chips, baby oranges, and Barry even treated us to some cookies. Owen loved loved loved his peanut butter sandwich. :D
There were a TON of people at Devil's Garden, and it wasn't very nice weather, so we decided to possibly go back and hike it later. (WE didn't get around to it, ...next time perhaps.) |
We decided to hike Sand Dune Arch instead. This was possible my favorite. It was super easy and FUN.
OWen was truly the perfect baby, the whole time. He hated to get OUT of his carrier. I let him wear his pajamas to protect his arms legs and feet from the sun. He had a blast. He would just fall asleep whenever he got tired and then wake up again all smiles Many, many people remarked about how cute he was.
This wall was just so beautiful.
the sand was so fine, We had to dump out our shoes multiple times and then even our socks.
A favorite hike of the kids. Double Arch.
It IS magnificent.
The older kids ditched me and went off exploring ...hunting for lizard and scorpions and rattle-snakes.
Barry and Owen climbed up inside the Arch. Emmie and I stayed at the bottom and had a little photo shoot with my dirty lens. :D
