a funny moment

The other night, Barry had the worst breath, I mean it was horrible, horrible, horrible.
I tried to tell him, but he just disregarded me saying he already brushed his teeth.

The baby was having a rough night, so Barry decided to bunk with James, I was secretly very pleased by this.

The next morning at breakfast Barry said

"James kept doing the strangest thing last night, I keep waking up because I couldn't breath. I would wake up and James' pillow would covering my head, or he would be leaning over me putting his hand over my mouth. Why would he do that?"

I could only giggle and feel a little guilty for poor James because I knew exactly why.

For Mothers Day

I got a new vacuum.
Actually, I told Barry, don't you dare try and give me a new vacuum for Mother's Day.
(He was buying one anyway last week, because he ran over our other one)
He said "That's a great idea, that hadn't even occurred to me."

Well whatever it was for, I finally got it, and it's NICE.
I think I was just kindof combing the carpet with my other vacuum, this one really sucks, and it's way quiet. Hopefully it will last for 30 years or so, but we'll see.

I also got these beauties

I told Barry how much I liked them, ...and I sort-of left the ordering info open on the computer so it would be super easy for him to surprise me with them.

My plan worked, Barry ordered them for me online and they came in only 2 days, just in time for Mother's Day ...unfortunately they shipped the wrong size 5 1/2.(NO, Mom you can't have them). But I am excited to get my super-cute sandals one day soon.

All three kiddos were sick, so I stayed home from church with them and made Oatmeal Pecan Raisin Cookies and had a long nap. MMmmmm good times.

Someone told me, they didn't like reading what I wrote on my blog, so much as just looking at the pictures of my cute chillins. So I pretty much stopped(I said, pretty much) with my weird posts.

But after a long and thoughtful review of my blog for publication purposes, I have decided, weird posts are much more fun. So watch out blog readers, you're in for it!

Well you will be soon......


Because editing my blog to make it into a little book is going to take up wayyyyy too much of my precious time, I won't have time to blog, ;( please don't cry.

Everyday without fail James sneaks in my closet and tightens my shoelaces, so I can't put my foot in my shoe. GRrrrrrr
I have no idea why he does this, but due to his dedication to the act, I believe he must find some inner glee in doing it.

Barry's sympathy for my foot included and was limited to "How in the world did you hurt THAT toe?"
